At VEI Systems, we can convert your existing instrument cluster to digital with all the features of our V1 standard-sized instruments. You choose the gauge functions, plus exciting features such as infra-red remote control and audible alarms, and we'll do the rest. We will custom design the electronics to follow the contours of your instrument cluster and work with you on the design/layout to your liking. And it's all a lot more cost effective than you can imagine. This page shows some examples of the clusters we've done.

1956 Mercury Custom Features: Adds a tachometer (not on original instrument cluster) Functions: speed, tach, oil pressure, fuel level, water temp, voltmeter. Also includes a matching digital clock (on the passenger side of the vehicle). Due to space constraints, customer chose bargraphs for peripheral functions, & both numerical and bargraph for speedometer and tachometer. Left turn, right turn, high beam indicators built into cluster. Custom fit follows contours of existing instrument cluster.    1957 Chevy Instrument-specific features: Per customer requirements, we used larger LEDs for the speedometer digits, and added a bargraph tachometer. Original turn signals were retained. Also includes a matching digital clock (on the passenger side of the vehicle). Infra-red remote control eliminates visible switches on the cluster. Custom fit follows the contours of the existing instrument cluster.    1958 Plymouth Plaza Instrument-specific features: 9 instrument functions: Speedo w/odo & trip Tach, Oil pressure Water temp, Fuel level Voltmeter Clock Outside temp Gear-position indicator Original turn signals were retained. 6 additional indicators (signals, high-beam, alarm, alt, etc). Also includes a matching digital clock (on the passenger side of the vehicle). Remote underdash-mounted switches for control of alarms, etc. Custom fit follows the contours of the existing instrument cluster.
